Sadly, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, our beautiful Mother and Friend, Linda Kay Stone, passed away unexpectedly at 12:54 PM at Kaweah Health Center in Visalia, CA. She is survived by her son, Paul Christian Stone, 50, of Richmond, CA, and her daughter, Christina Anne Stone, 45, also of Visalia, her granddaughter, Kelley Lianne Widener of Visalia, CA, and her sister, Kathey Lynn DeSantis of Tracy, CA.
Linda was born Linda Kay Woods to Paul Crigler Woods and Mildred Louise Woods in Visalia, CA in 1949. She attended and graduated from Redwood High School in 1967 and attended the College of the Sequoias for some time. Linda worked for, and retired from CIGNA insurance company in 2019 after 29 years of work. Linda was the most loving mother, a caring daughter and sister, and a great friend to many. She often put her friends’ and family’s needs in front of her own. Linda was married to Michael Scott Stone (deceased) and had a loving partnership with David Rolfo (deceased). She was a lover of both cats and dogs and cared for many. Linda loved to read cook books, watch cooking shows and was an excellent cook. She loved music from the 1960s. She was a big fan of the San Francisco Giants. She is well known to love the color purple. Linda will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Miller’s Memorial in Visalia.
