Leticia Guerra

Leticia was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on November 9, 1956 to Jose Rene Guerra and Elda Irma Vela Guerra. Her early education was in Arizona and her family came to Visalia, California when she was 17 where she attended Redwood High School, graduating in 1975. Leticia was of Catholic faith. She worked for over 10 years for the Santa Clara Health and Hospital system. Her hobbies included gardening, walking, traveling and vacationing, floral arranging, crosstitch and embroidery. Leticia especially enjoyed times spent with her family.

Leticia was preceded in death by her father, Jose Guerra on October 24, 2011.

Leticia was a loving and caring person and memories of her will forever be cherished.

Leticia is survived by her fiancé, Salvador Gutierrez, Jr. of San Jose, CA; her mother, Elda Guerra of Visalia; her children Eddie Arroya and Stephanie Moreno, bother of San Jose and Christy Hignight of Surprise, AZ; her brother, Oscar Guerra of San Jose, Ca; her sister, Laura Camero and Lirba Neill, both of Visalia, and five beautiful grandchildren, Edward, Terrance, Isabella, Lilliana and Ariana and host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4 -6 p.m. with Recitation of Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 608 N. Church in Visalia. Burial will follow at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia.
