Alan was born in Bellflower, California on June 22, 1957 to Alphonso and Ruth Greenlee. He was raised and educated in Stockton, Clovis and Visalia, graduating from Mt. Whitney High School in 1975. He entered the United States Navy in 1975, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and served aboard the USS Nimitz. Following his discharge in 1977, Alan returned to Visalia to make his home. He worked at Earlibest in Exeter and was currently employed by DH Distributing of Fresno. Alan was an avid reader, San Francisco Giant, 49er and Nascar fan and he loved music. His greatest enjoyment was his little daughter, Madeline and spending time with his family. Alan will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Alphonso in 2007 and his wife Tammy in 2008.
Alan leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Madeline Greenlee of Visalia; his mother, Ruth Greenlee of Visalia; his brother, Ron Greenlee and David Greenlee and wife, Danys, all of Visalia; his sister Pam Greenlee-Simmons and husband, Sonny of Farmersville; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Calvary Worship Center, 3890 S. Lovers Lane in Visalia, CA.
