Harold Baxter Fink Jr.

Harold Baxter Fink Jr., son of Harold Baxter Fink Sr. and Thelma (Bruns) Fink, was born on Oct 1st, 1931, in Porterville, CA. Raised in Elderwood, CA, Harold graduated from Woodlake High School in 1949 and then attended the USC Pharmacy School, where he graduated in 1956. During that time he also served two years in the US Army. Harold married Dalles Delo Britten on Jan 1, 1953, and soon after began what would become a 30-year career as a co-owner of Mixter’s Pharmacy in Visalia. Active in the Masonic Lodge, Harold became Master of the Visalia Masonic Lodge #128 in 1972. During the 63 years they were married, Harold and Dalles enjoyed frequent pack trips into the backcountry of the high Sierras with their horses and mules, sightseeing throughout Europe, exploring the western United States in their trailer and traveling on numerous cruises.

Harold is survived by his wife, Dalles; two sons (Ronald and Darrel Fink), five grandchildren (Brandon Fink, Jennifer (Fink) Moore, Matthew, Jonathan and Andrew Fink), two great grandchildren (Kaitlin Moore and Grace Fink) and several cousins (Donald Fink, Larry Fink, Billy Fink and Lewis Stockton.)

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Harold’s name.
