Elizabeth Escobedo was born in Gibbon, Nebraska on July 7, 1934 to Tomas and Antonia (Gonzalez) Gallo. She went to meet the Lord in Visalia, California on October 27, 2020. Elizabeth met her sweetheart Jose Escobedo in Los Angeles working at Swift and Company. They were married soon after. In 1955 they moved to Woodlake, California. During her life in Woodlake she worked at various jobs. As a babysitter she took care of many children and had the opportunity to raise her own. She also worked as a fruit sorter and seamstress. Elizabeth and Joe raised their children and traveled to Colorado hunting trips. They enjoyed their life to the fullest.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Escobedo and her son, Richard Escobedo. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Michael (Karen) Escobedo, Consuelo Escobedo, George (Linda) Escobedo, Ruben (Beth) Escobedo, Steven (Michelle) Escobedo, Ernest (Gigi) Escobedo and Rachel (Anthony) Bravo. Elizabeth is also survived by twenty grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with Rosary at 6:30pm. A Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 1908 North Court Street, Visalia, CA 93291 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 10:00am. There will be no reception after Mass due to the pandemic.
