Diane is the eldest child of Harold and Patricia (nee Patton) Foreman. She had two younger siblings Kent David Foreman and Margo Grace Kreider. Most of Diane's pre-college education took place in Lindsay, but the family moved to Visalia for her senior year, and she graduated from Mt Whitney High School. Diane attended College of the Sequoias before transferring to and graduating from Fresno State University. Diane majored in Health Education with a minor in Business Education, and attained a California Teaching Certificate.
Diane taught business courses in two high schools outside Modesto, until she married her second husband and moved to Orange County, California. She spent some time as a substitute high school teacher in various school districts in the Irvine area, but eventually gave that up to pursue other avenues.
She was an Accounts Payable clerk for an Orange County manufacturing firm, until her second child was born. Because child care for two would cost more than she netted as a clerk, and because child care was a needed resource in the Irvine area at that time, she shifted to doing in-home child care herself. She continued doing this until her son was in college and her daughter in high school. Diane then became a retail clerk for a national brand pet store and continued in this job until she retired in 2015.
Diane and her husband moved to Visalia in 2016, so that she would be better able to care for her aging mother. However, in late 2017, a tumor of the pituitary gland drastically affected her health. The tumor was successfully removed, but Diane never returned to full health. She was lovingly cared for by her husband for the remainder of her life.
Diane was preceded in death by her father Harold (2006), her sister Margo (2012), and her mother Patricia (earlier in 2022). Diane is survived by her brother Kent (Tipton, Ca), husband Ted (Visalia, Ca), son Joshua (Costa Mesa, California), daughter Heather (Irvine, California), step-daughter (Katherine (nee Gladieux) Vogel, and three grandchildren Caroline Vogel, Conner Vogel, and Soren Vogel, as well as four nephews, six nieces, and several grand nephews and grand nieces.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.millerchapel.com for the Gladieux family.
