Albert George Hanson, Jr. passed away on April 26, 2015 at the age of 76.
Albert was born and raised in rural South Dakota. After graduation from Roslyn High School, he joined the Army and then worked as an accountant until he retired in 1994. He married his first wife, Lyonne Palm, in 1960 and they had three children together. After their divorce he married his second wife, Mildred Hopper, in 1972. They were together until her death in 2011.
Albert was a kind, loving, and witty man who loved his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He was generous with his time to help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He attended the Visalia Christian Reformed Church where he was involved in the Men's Bible Study Group. He also assisted at the Lyons Club in Dinuba.
Albert is survived by one brother Alden Hanson (Myren), three children, Kimberly Niz (Robert), Daniel Hanson, Stacey Berbereia (Joseph), six grandchildren, Brittnee, Raechel, Madison, Austin, Zachary, and Alexa, two great-grandchildren, Gavyn and Preslee.
Celebration of Life service will be held at the Visalia Christian Reformed Church, 1030 S. Linwood Street, Visalia, CA 93277 on Wednesday, May 6 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Visalia Christian Reformed Church.
