Sarah Ada Fraser

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Ada Fraser, 91. Sarah drifted peacefully to God’s side on the morning of November 25th, 2023. A beloved mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda, her two sons, George and James, her son-in-law, Seyed, and her two grandchildren, Aria and Sarah. Sarah was born on the 23rd of June, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A life-long learner, Sarah attained a master’s degree in linguistics from Old Dominion University. She was also an avid lover of literature, spending much of her career as a teacher of accelerated English at Western Branch and Indian River High Schools in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sarah will be remembered by all who knew her as an intelligent and gentle soul who passionately loved and advocated for animals. Her family will miss her deeply, but they take comfort in her cherished memory and the knowledge that they will one day see her again.
