       Me and Ron were asked quite a few times over the years if we were brothers. It must have been the matching gray hair and beards.
       Anyone who was around me and Ron at the same time realized real quick that we enjoyed picking on each other especially about being old. We would call each other Dad, Pops, Oldman and Oldtimer. One morning we were going out to pick up the Samurai with my trailer and we stopped at Golden Corral on the way. We had been there for a while and i had gone up to get more food and while i was at the buffet i ask the waitress to go tell my Dad that his son was getting a cup of coffee and to ask Dad if he wanted 1 too. I was watching and i could tell by the look on his face that she did it just like i hoped she would. He was still smiling when i got back to the table when he asked me "Tell me again why i hang out with you".
There are so many other stories i could tell and all of them are now great memories.
Man. Good times. I'm sure going to miss him.

Great memories from High school many moons ago. RIP Ron prayers to the family.

 To  Ron's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ron was a regular at the Civic League meetings . I spoke to him  every time he attended .  I will miss seeing him at the meetings, waving to him on his morning walks, and   our conversations.  Just a great guy. May his memory be eternal.

Love and prayers for the Hamel Family.  God Bless you all.  My memory of Ron is he was a kind, loving, thoughtful man.  He loved his family very much.  

Dear Amanda and Kelsea, please know how much Ronnie meant to Bobby, Jonathan, and me.  He was such a good and caring man.  May your memories give you solace and the certainty that he loved you two with every ounce of his being. 

Condolences in this time of sorrow.  Ronald was an independent soul and trail blazer. He will be sorely missed.

Favorite memory - Ronnie and Steven in the front seat of Steven's green car (think it was green) - Ronnie spinning his class ring around so the rock was inside his palm and him wrestling me in the back seat patting me on the head.  
He loved me and I appreciated that!
