Phyllis Bristow White

Phyllis Bristow White, 75, of Virginia Beach, Virginia went to be with The Lord on March 25, 2022. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband, Clifton White; parents, Jesse Willard and Vernelle Grizzard Bristow. She is survived by her brother, Wayne Bristow, two nieces and five great nieces. Phyllis was born in Norfolk, Virginia on April 17, 1946. She graduated from Granby High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Campbell College. She was employed by the City of Norfolk Library for forty years. She was an avid reader. Phyllis was always active in her church; singing in the choir and leading Evangelism Explosion. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Michael Rouleau will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia.
