Oscar Vega Llorin, 91, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away December 7, 2023. He was born in Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines to the late Primo Layones Llorin and Gregoria Vega Llorin. He served in the United States Navy for 26 years, rose to the rank of Disbursing Clerk Chief Petty Officer, and was a veteran of the Korean and the Vietnam Wars.
Oscar is survived by his wife of 63 years, Milagros Abaño Llorin; daughter and son-in-law, Lalaine and Michael Carroll of Orlando, FL and grandchildren Braxton and Lorin; daughter and son-in-law Milani and Ron Hunt of Tucson, AZ and grandchildren Tia and Ryan; and son and daughter-in-law, Oscar J. and Mary Anne Llorin of Catonsville, MD and grandchildren Hannah, Jordan, and Liam.
A visitation for Oscar will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith & Williams Funeral Home Kempsville, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Church of the Ascension Roman Catholic Church, 4853 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. A mausoleum entombment will occur at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23454.
