Michael Louis Henning

Michael Louis Henning, 41, passed away September 7, 2011.

“Mike” as he was affectionately known by his family and friends entered the world and our hearts March 30, 1970 to Stanley and Mildred Henning in Portsmouth, VA. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Gulf War. Mike loved playing darts, eating crab legs, coaching softball for his daughters and nieces when they played at Aragona Pembroke Little League, and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memory is: two daughters, Ashley and Mandy Henning; two sisters, Kathy McFarland and husband James, Karen Fountain and husband Glenn; brother, Steve Henning; aunts and uncles: Carl Acel, Bart and Carol Baldwin, Tom and Sue Kurtyka, Phil and Brenda Henry, Wayne and Kathy Manoso, Martha Manoso, Jane Buchert, Ronald and Jill Koenig, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a grandson on the way. He is preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Rick and Henry L. Henning, and family members: Margaret Manoso, Gloria Godrey, Linda Acel, Elpidio Manoso, Jr.
