Mary Holloway Snead

Virginia Beach - Mary H. Snead passed away May 27, 2014. She was born November 15, 1934 to the late William & Floy Holloway in Miami, FL. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Binford L. Snead; daughter Linda S. Wheeler; grandson Nicholas E. Wheeler; Niece Katherine Weinberg and her husband Andrew of Va Beach,VA; Brother in-law Jon W. Snead and wife Sherrye of Colleyville,TX; and Nephew Jon W. Snead, Jr. of Grapevine, TX; Grandniece Amanda Conner of Oviedo, Fla; God Son John Hart of Gotha, Fla; and many dear and cherished friends. She was a graduate of Norview High School, Norfolk, VA; She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Suburban Woman's Club, and lifelong supporter of many civic, community and volunteer organizations. A service will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462 at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31,2014. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
