Julian Gordon Wynn

Julian Gordon Wynn, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born in Dublin, GA to the late John Silas and Lula Mae Wynn. Julian served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps then became an automobile upholsterer working at Wynn’s Auto Upholstery for fifty years. He was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church for 54 years, and was a life member of the Fleet Reserve Association. Julian was an honest, hardworking, family man who instilled his principles of sportsmanship and fairness to all as a youth athletics coach. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed tinkering in the garage and in the yard; he loved working in his garden and always shared the bounty of vegetables with family and friends.
Julian was predeceased by his parents and 4 brothers.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Wynn; children Lynette Wynn, Julian Wynn (Lauren), and Julienne Butler (Michael); grandchildren, Amber, Lauren, and Jordon; and great granddaughter, Sophie Bea.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
