Jack S. Walters, Jr, 66 of Richmond, Virginia passed away November 5, 2022. He was born December 6, 1955 in San Diego California. His parents, Jack and Ruby Walters, predeceased him. He is survived by his sister, Maria E. Walters of Virginia Beach; three aunts, Dorothy Sue Hagy of Culter Bay, FL, Jane Moser of Rolla, Missouri and Julia Davis of Williamsburg, VA; and numerous cousins.
Jack graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach in 1974. He received an associate’s degree in Engineering Technology from Tidewater Community College in 1981.
He was a Boy Scout and a cadet member of the Norfolk Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.
He was a former employee of Tracor, a defense electronic contractor, and the US Bankruptcy Court in Richmond, Virginia before retiring.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
