Howard Smith, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on December 8, 2017. He was a retired manager from Roses Department Stores and Bobs Gun Shop.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Janice Pittman Smith; 4 children, Phil Smith and wife Debbie, Tim Smith and wife Debbie, Bryan Smith and wife Kelly (Bland), Cindy Brown and husband Bill; a sister, Delores Abney and husband Glenn; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., VA Beach. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
