Helen Whaley Johnson, died December 10, 2011. Born and raised in South Norfolk, she made her home in Norfolk. Helen was married to the late David E. Johnson. She is predeceased by her parents George Whaley, Sr., and Nora A Whaley; brother, George Whaley, Jr., and sister, Evelyn W. Campbell.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael K. Johnson of Norfolk; brother in law, Ronald Campbell of Chesapeake and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Helen was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Norfolk, and several senior groups. She had many friends.
A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, at 12:00 p.m. in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. The family will receive friends one prior to the service from 11-12 p.m. Please visit Mrs. Johnson’s memorial at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
