Garland Timothy Howell

Garland Tim Howell, age 72, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Garland was born in Stuart, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father Garland W. Howell. Tim attended Indian River High School and served as a brickmason for more than forty years. He attended Oaklette Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing and his 1950 Ford Pickup and working in his yard in Ocean View. Survivors include his loving wife Doris Miles Howell, his mother Jackie Munden, two daughters Wanda Dawkins and Tina Howell; adopted grandchildren Galina and William Ewsuk; two sisters Kathi Quinn and Amanda Specht; two nieces Holly and Hillary and a nephew Danny and several great nieces and nephews; and extended family Alex and Susan Ewsuk. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2:00 pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
