Eva Keefe Little

Eva Keefe Little, 76, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2012. Born July 2, 1936 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Emma Keefe and was preceded in death by former husband Bobby L. Little, Sr. After 25 years of service she retired from Civil Service as an Accounting Manager at the Norfolk Naval Base and was currently employed with the Virginia Beach Public Schools as a Bus Assitant. She was an active member and elder of Wycliffe Presbyterian Church. She and her best friend Trish Mann co-owned and operated The Village Engraver in Fairfield Shopping Center for several years. She is survived by her four-legged daughter Gabby, her sister Bonnie K. Propster and husband Robert; a son, Bobby L. Little, Jr. and wife Julie Sawyer-Little; daughters, Lynda F. Poole and husband Rich; Kelley A. Gumbs and husband Alan and Shelley J. Warren and husband Scott; six grandchildren, Bobby L. Little, III, Barry Little and wife Danielle, Christopher Little, Katherine Little, Jeremy Poole and Nathan Poole; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla Grace Little and Connor Dane Little; and 2 lifelong friends and adopted sisters, Shirley Barker and Bess Mann. She was preceded in death by her lifelong best friend Trish Mann. As a mother devoted to her family, she also had a great love for animals, camping and baseball. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 2pm at Wycliffe Presbyterian Church , 1445 North Great Neck Road, Va. Beach, VA 23454, with Marguerite Alley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
