Donna Georganne Pauley passed away on September 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 27, 1954 to Sarah E. Whitehurst and the late Chester D. Pauley in Norfolk, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Winford “Ray” Whitehurst, and her brothers, C. Donald Pauley, and Mark L. Pauley.
Donna was a graduate of Oscar F. Smith High School and longtime owner of Colony Beach Florist. Earlier in her life she received her ministerial license from the Church of God. During the last 3 years Donna fought a courageous battle to the end. A special thanks to Cindy Whitehurst and Linda Sexton for their care and devotion during this time.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sarah E. Whitehurst; brother, Scott Pauley (Dorene), stepsisters Cindy Whitehurst and Pam Dunman (Roy), niece Sarah Manley (Nathan), nephew Steven Patterson (Jennifer) and Tyler Johnson (Katie). Also, several great nieces a nephew, aunt, cousins, and several special friends.
