Cecil “Lucky” Jordan, 91, passed away peacefully in his home on November 21, 2011. He was born on October 1, 1920 in Coeburn, Virginia, the son of the late Earl and Lydia Jordan. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. “Lucky” was a member of Masonic Lodge (Naomi) No.87 AF&AM. He retired from Sears with 37 years of service and was top salesman in his department. “Lucky” will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 55 years, Elsie M. Jordan; his children, Judith Musselwhite, Sheila Sigafoos and husband Joseph; six grandchildren, Michael and Brian Musselwhite, Jennifer Salley, Joseph, Wesley and Kristopher Sigafoos; eight great-grandchildren; Conor Musselwhite, Kylie Sigafoos, Alissa Jordan, Caleb, Olivia and Marcus Salley, Brayden and Raegan Sigafoos; brother, Joel Jordan; sister, Grace Schmeider and a host of other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the funeral home with entombment following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Virginia Beach or CHKD of Norfolk. You may offer your condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
