Catherine "Chickie" M. Connors

Catherine “Chickie” M. Connors, 75, passed away on February 12, 2013. She was born on November 3, 1937 to the late Charles H. and Robina Chambers in Everett, Massachusetts. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Robert F. Connors, and her brothers Bert, Paul and Laurie Chambers. She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Connors; Diane Mantos and husband Philip, Paula Sulla and husband Jeff all of Virginia beach; son, Michael Connors and wife Joanne; brothers, Neil Chambers of Massachusetts and Alfred Chambers of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren, Eric and Rachael Mantos, Courtney, Cameron and Caden Connors and Erin Sulla. Chickie was a wonderful loving and caring wife and mother. Words can’t express what a special lady she was. She was the kind of neighbor everyone wanted and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Kellum Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
