Spencer Douglas Mikkonen entered eternal rest on May 29, 2015 in Barstow, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jalo and Sylvia Mikkonen, two of his brothers Johnny and Matt Mikkonen, and two of his sisters Shirley Pickell and Joyce Maddock. He is survived by two sisters, Edna Richardson of Central Point, OR and Barbara Mikkonen of Blaine, MN, also one brother Gary (Mava) Mikkonen of Anoka, MN. He leaves daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Haines of Barstow, CA and Cindy (Ken) Baker of Shadowood, OH and son Mark (Jerilee) Mikkonen of Ritter, OR. He has 5 grandchildren, Christy (Charles) Thrasher, Marchel (Jeff) Davis, Katherine Baker, Brandon and Meagan Mikkonen. He also has 3 great-grandchildren, Shawna and Ryan Davis, and Mackenzie Thrasher. No services will be held at this time.
