A long time resident of Apple Valley, Phyllis Louise Shafer, passed away on February 22, 2018. She was born March 3rd, 1923 in Kansas. She was the oldest of seven children. She moved to the High Desert when she married her husband in 1947. They had a dairy business in Apple Valley for over twenty years. She was a homemaker survived by her children David (Joanne) of Blythe, Ca. Raymond (Sandy) of Hesperia, Ca. Peggy(Jim) Lanford of Apple Valley, Ca. She had ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded by the death of her husband Fred and son Gary. Services will be March 12th, 2018 at 11:00 at Desert View Funeral Home 11478 Amargosa Rd Victorville, CA 92392
