He was born on January 7, 1930 in Batesville, Arkansas, to Paul Aubry and Opal Hobbs Galloway and grew up in Batesville.
He later married his beloved wife, ChongHo of 21 years.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 from 10-11:00 am and a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Valley Mortuary at 15609 11th Street, Victorville CA. Officiated by Pastor Joel Counts. Private internment will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.
In January 1946, he entered the military. In 1965 Billy moved to California, he worked most of his life in security, until his retirement in January 1992 and continued working security up until 2017. He enjoyed going to the horse track, dabbling in selling used cars with his friend Jim and his morning cups of coffee at McDonalds. Billy loved to travel the United States, as a result, he acquired the nickname “The Road Warrior” He loved people and never met a stranger. He loved God and going to church. His greatest joy were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Lynn Galloway of Wichita, Kansas, daughter, Deborah M. Holloway (Danny) of Wichita, Kansas, step-daughter, Marlen Sebetich, of Los Angeles, California, step-son, Ronald Sebetich, of Apple Valley, California; 13 (thirteen) grandchildren, Heidi M. Holloway, Noah G. Holloway, Christopher Galloway, Dana Galloway, Andra Galloway; Jason Sebetich; Marlere Sebetich, Mairnai Sebetich, Sophie Sebetich; five (5) great-grandchildren, Bryce Galloway, Bryan Galloway, Oliver N. Holloway, Amelia Z. Holloway, Nigel E. Holloway; one (1) brother Anthony Galloway of Southside, Arkansas, one sister, Jimmie Smith, of Swartz Creek, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Opal Rosencrants, two brothers, John B. Galloway and Aubrey Gene Galloway, and one son, Larry Russell.
