Shawn Jeffery Meitzen

Shawn was born September 23, 1973 in Victoria, Texas to Rebecca Meitzen and Edward Meitzen. He enjoyed mud racing and deer hunting. He was an accessory fabricator for the last 15 years. He was a loving father, son, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed.

Shawn is survived by his sons, Dustin Meitzen and Trace Meitzen; his step-daughters, Sierra Robles and Mercedes Ortega (Noel); father, Edward Meitzen; mother, Rebecca Meitzen; sisters, Kim Koehl (Cody) and Holly Wagner (Justin); grandsons, Patrick and Phoenix Meitzen and Angelo Ortega; maternal grandmother, Faye Martin; uncle, Darrell Martin (Susan); aunt, Virginia Kliem (Roy); cousins, Vicki Kliem, Bailey Prewitt, Stacey Sellards (Chris) and Wayne Martin; and nephews and niece, River, Mason, Brayden, Spencer and Lindsey Koehl and Grayson Wagner.

Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Martin; paternal grandfather, Robert Meitzen; paternal grandmother, Barbara Meitzen; uncles, Robert and Arthur Meitzen; and cousins, Valerie and Sabrina Kliem.
