Rudolph Rivera

Rudy loved to play baseball, he played for Wharton in his younger days and passed on his passion for baseball to his kids and grandkids. He loved to do remodeling on homes and had a knack for custom work. He was a business owner and the co-owner of Vietnamese Cuisine.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Olivia Rivera; his children, Amanda Rivera (Lauren) of San Marcus, Laurie Longoria (Carlos) of Victoria, Gabriela Cruz (Joaquin) of San Antonio, Matthew Rivera of El Campo, Bryan Rivera of Victoria; brother, Joseph Rivera (Mary) of Shiner; grandchildren, Gemma Longoria, Melaina Rivera, Elias Cruz, Micah Longoria, Diego Cruz, Becket Longoria and Kolbe Longoria. Rudy is also survived by Angela Lam and her children, Christina Lam and Justin Lam.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 1-1:30 PM followed by a rosary at 1:30 PM at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory. Mass will immediately follow at 2 PM.

Honorary pallbearers are Rudy’s grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rudy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
