Leonard Gene Westerman

Leonard Gene Westerman 77 of Victoria passed away October 19, 2013. He was born March 10, 1936 in Victoria to the late Oscar William and Maida Hanna Westerman. Leonard worked for Quintana Petroleum Corporation as a workover Superintendent for 34 years. He was a member of Crescent Valley Baptist Church and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1954.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 58 years Jo Ann Linam Westerman of Victoria; daughter, Denise Hardin and husband, Jimmy of Victoria; sons, Leonard Westerman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Clay Westerman and wife, Kathy of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jay Westerman, Courtney Westerman, Jarrod Westerman and wife, Naomi, Katie Alvarez and husband, Joe, Laura Westerman, Kellie Lawson and husband, Shane, Jarrett Westerman, and the Claybrooks were his extended family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Jessie York, Sadie Nelson, and Shirley Walters; brothers, Tom and Theodore Westerman.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10 AM from the Crescent Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Coffey and Rev. Marcus Gohlke officiating. Graveside services will follow in Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Jay and Jarrod Westerman, Joe Alvarez, Shane Lawson, Ryan Little and Brandon Calk.

Honorary Pallbearers will be great-children; Jarrett Westerman, Seth Davis, Kaelyn Davis, Duke Westerman, Maison Leet, Noah Leet, Tyler Westerman and Brennan Alvarez.
