Gloria M. Rios

Gloria M. Rios, 82, of Victoria, Texas, left this world peacefully on December 24, 2021. Her Lord and Savior rejoices in her homecoming and her family and friends find comfort knowing her body and mind have been renewed. "He will change our lowly body to conform with his glorified body by the power that enables him also to bring all things into subjection to himself." - Philippians 3:21. She was born on February 16, 1939, in San Antonio to Daniel and Simona R. Mahan.

Gloria was a beautiful person with the most supreme loving soul. Her ultimate passion in life was to give her very best to her family. She loved to cook and participated in many family gatherings. As family was superior in her life, her devout relationship with God was very strong as she believed God's presence in our lives produces peace, purpose and power. She always placed God in the center of her life. She was an active member of First Assembly of God.

Gloria is survived by son Ernest Cardenas (Gabby), daughter Laurie Perez (Robert), five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ernest Cardenas and second husband Torivio (Terry) Rios and son Oscar Rios.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. and a celebration of her life to follow from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
