What more can I say, If I’d only known, I would have written my own obituary months ago, as I’ve been known to write some pretty unique stores. So now it is left up to my family, so expect some mistakes.
Elizabeth Nell Charbula, 81, of Inez, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2024. Nell was born December 23, 1942, to Emma and Floyd Franz of Inez.

Nell was a devoted wife, mom, sister and “Nina. She was a highly organized person and loved to write letters and send cards. She loved to play bingo, even though she never one a single game and could never pass up on a good garage sale.
She retired from J.C. Penny’s, managed the Inez Community Century, member of the Inez Volunteer Fire Department and subbed as postmaster at the Inez Post Office, which when she finished working there, she said “I’m Done!”
Being a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, she spent countless hours making church banners, “trying” to sing in the choir and working the oyster/fish fries.
She is survived by her three children; her grandchildren, Elliott Haenel, Courtney Oestreich and husband, Robert, Justin Nowlin and wife, Ashley, Jaycob Haenel and wife, Kortney, Coree Nowlin and her great-grandchildren, Levi and Elias Haenel, Adalyn Nowlin and soon to be great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Nowlin, Heinrich Oestreich; sister, Billie Kucera and brother, Floyd “Buddy” Franz and wife, Karen.
