He was born on June 20, 2002, in Victoria, the son of Tanya and Gene Boerm. He attended Calhoun High School and graduated in 2020. Coewin was well-known in the community for his fun-loving spirit, fierce loyalty, and gregarious love of life. Coewin worked as an apprentice under his father as a boat builder with Shoalwater Boats. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to duck hunt, fish, and playing golf with the guys. He also enjoyed spending an enormous amount of time with his longtime girlfriend Carleigh.
Coewin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and being around his adventurous spirit. The pallbearers for his celebration of life are Bradley Flores, Cade Kveton, Kevin Nevarez, Dylon Shefcik, Will Swope, and Trenton Taylor.
Coewin is survived by his mom, Tanya, dad, Gene, two brothers Hunter and Cameron, and little sister, Caedyn of Port Lavaca. In addition, grandparents Lynette “Susie” Jackson from Victoria as well as Kathy and David Cann of Austwell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane in Victoria. A funeral will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, 10 a.m. at Faith Family Church on Mockingbird Lane in Victoria, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Coewin Boerm Memorial fund at any 1st National Bank.
