Bridget Williams, 68, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Canyon, Texas to Sam and Leona Urbanczyk Mazurek on March 3, 1956. Bridget worked at First Victoria National Bank, and as a Diagnostician Clerk for Victoria Independent School District. Bridget was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whom will be missed by all.
Bridget grew up on a farm in Hereford, Texas where she drove a tractor, took care of the chickens, and helped with her younger siblings. She met the love of her life, Randy, in high school and they have been together ever since. She devoted her life to him and her four children and grandchildren. She went to every game, saw every play, and made sure they always knew that she loved them. In her spare time her hobbies were artistic. She was most proud of her ceramics that she painted over the years. When asked what her greatest accomplishment was, her answer was her children, grandchildren, and her life with her husband.
Bridget is preceded in death by her parents; Sam and Leona Urbanczyk Mazurek, and brother; Joey Mazurek.
Bridget is survived by her loving husband; Randall Williams, of Victoria, Texas, daughters; Angela Wright (Golden), of Beaumont, Texas, Mary Katherine Duffy (Jim), of Austin, Texas, and Elizabeth Jolly (Michael), of Ezzell, Texas, son; Steven Williams, of Houston, Texas, sisters; Sammee Mazurek, of Leander, Texas, Pam Shepic (Jeff), of Dripping Springs, Texas, Lesa Kelln (Jay), of Amarillo, Texas, Amanda Leonard (Treaver), of Corinth, Texas, and Tori Kenney (Bryan), of Leander, Texas, and brother; Scott Mazurek (Beth), of Slayton, Texas, grandchildren, Felicity Jolly, Abigail Jolly, Jimmy Duffy, and Joey Duffy. She also leaves behind numerous extended family, her beloved cat Suki, and multiple grand-puppies, and grand-kittens, all of whom will cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5-7 pm, followed by reciting of the Rosary at 7 pm, lead by her Brother-in-law, Bryan Kenney, all at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Father Gabriel Bentil officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be Golden Wright, Jim Duffy, Michael Jolly, Nicky Shepic, Teddy Shepic, and Archie Leonard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Duffy, Joey Duffy, Eli Leonard, Garrett Mazurek, Matthew Kenney, and Brandon Klier.
The family expresses their gratitude to Hospice of South Texas and Sylvia Albiar for the exceptional support and care provided to Bridget throughout her final year.
