Barbara Nadine Jarratt

Barbara N. Jarratt, 86, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 in Victoria, Texas. She was born August 27, 1937 in San Antonio to Darrel and Katie (Mickey) Orr. She was raised in Nursery, Texas where the family lived next to the Methodist Church. She married William E. Jarratt on March 4, 1956 in Victoria and the couple had two children, Jess Jarratt (Barbara) of Atlanta, Ga. and Melissa Jarratt-Purl of Victoria. Barbara was a legal secretary for many years and then was a realtor in Victoria.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, and her sister Patricia Bianchi.

She is survived by her children and six grandchildren, Ashleigh Purl-LaRocca (David), William Purl, Matthew Jarratt (Christine), Patrick Jarratt (Catherine), Ben Jarratt (Jessica) and Beau Jarratt (Olivia). She had ten great grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her niece, Judy Jarratt-Srubar of Victoria and nephew, John Jarratt of Edna.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 1:00PM at Nursery Cemetery in Victoria, with Pastor Wayne Dedear reciting. Serving as pallbearers are Ashleigh Purl-Larocca, William Purl, Captain Matthew Jarratt, Patrick Jarratt, Benjamin Jarratt and Beau Jarratt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to Hospice of South Texas.
