Alma Dean Kimball

Alma Dean Kimball 78 of Victoria passed away February 22, 2013. She was born December 8, 1934 in Thorndale, Texas to the late Lynwood and Ruby Molen Yarbrough Hyde. Alma was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, TSTA Life Member, TRTA, CCLGA, RWGA and Victoria Civilian Police. She graduated from Southwest Texas State with a BS and Masters in education. Alma was a teacher for the Victoria Independent School District for over 30 years.

She is survived by her sons Timothy Earl Kimball and wife Michele of Victoria and Curtis Kimball and wife Chris of Victoria; sisters Janie Danysh and Kathryn Hyde of Victoria; brother Haron Hyde of Gonzales; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jessie E. Kimball and a sister Genell Goats.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013, at 2 PM from the Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will Ray Longoria, Bob Tate, Pat Janecek, Nick Lowry, Bob Johns and Dean Stagner.
