with emphasis on youth ministries.
She worked with IVCF in Ontario; then ISCF where
she travelled as a representative going from school
to school from the Interior of BC to Vancouver Island.
Verne worked at Columbia Bible College in
South Carolina as the dean of women with some teaching
responsibilities. She was then called to service
at Central Baptist Church in Victoria. She was Associate in
Christian education in charge of young peoples
as well as growth groups; and was successful in
encouraging many to participate in scriptural memorization.
Verne worked in the office of Mount Edwards for 15 years.
In her latter years she has had fellowship with the
Retirees and Friends at Saanich Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Victoria in early September.
