Bob Kite was such a wonderful man. I got to know him a little during and after I purchased the beautiful house and garden he built on Quadra Island. He was a remarkable artist and craftsman with a very big heart. His personality is written indelibly in each of the stained glass windows he created and in all of the exquisite carpentry, woodwork and brick work throughout my home. Because of it's profound uniqueness of character I have taken great pains to restore and preserve his workmanship within the house, garden architecture, and cabin that he so artfully created. I will remember him always and I wish to extend my welcome to all of his family members if ever they are visiting Quadra Island.

Jill, Andrew, Chris, Tim and families, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I always remembered him as a very happy and jovial man every time I saw him during our childhood. My deepest sympathies to all of you during this sad time. I send my love to you all.

Jill,                                 I Only had the pleasure of meeting your Dad once. He apparently was  quite accomplished and most certainly a great Bard.
