Loretta Ann Joseph of Victoria BC passed away peacefully on December 2nd 2022 at the age of 83.
Loretta is survived by her brother Thomas Joseph (Barb) and predeceased by her sister Georgina.
Many will know Loretta through her beautiful wood carvings created of driftwood gathered from beaches and dead-standing manzanita from the forests. Guided by nature and her "inner eye" she joyfully transformed these into objects of beauty, meaning and function. Loretta shared her knowledge of carving (and hand drumming) in workshops and leaves behind a legacy of inspired carvers and drummers.
As per Loretta's wishes there will be no funeral service.
