Karen Brenda Miller

April 9, 1961 - September 18, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Brenda Miller after a lengthy illness.

Karen was born to Desmond and Joyce Thornhill. She attended school in Victoria, then worked at various jobs while she put herself through training in the health field where she found her niche working as a lab tech for 35 years. Karen had a natural knack for her job and was very popular with both patients and staff.

She married her husband Chris Miller on September 12, 1992, after being together for many years.

Karen was creative, talented, and very generous. She loved occasions like Christmas and Halloween and enjoyed decorating both inside and out. She was an avid gardener who always had a beautiful yard, particularly in the summer. She was also an admitted “cat mom,” who has had several cats over the years that brought her much joy.

Karen has left an everlasting imprint on everyone’s heart that she touched. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, special sister, aunt and great aunt. Her large circle of friends was very important to her as well, and she cared for all of them. She is predeceased by her parents Desmond and Joyce Thornhill and her sister Phyllis Thornhill.
