Joan was predeceased in 2004 by her loving husband Bill.
She will be greatly missed by her family, son, Pat (Wendy) of Victoria, daughter Doralee in Australia, Grandchildren, Glenn (Lisa), Heidi (Cam), and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Lucas, Carson, and Megan.
Joan and Bill met and married in Vernon in 1950, moved to Revelstoke for short time, then settled in Victoria. They opened & operated Royal Oak Fish & Chips for 16 years and later opened Brentwood Bay Fish & Chips until their retirement.
Joan loved her garden and their home was always a place for family and friends to gather.
