She was born on September 30th 1932 in Saskatoon. She married the love of her life, Donald Frances Wilson in 1951, who predeceased her on 17th May 1994.
Jacquie was known for her fiery red hair and outgoing personality. She spoke to everyone she met and was always quick to give a compliment.
Jacquie dedicated her life to build and develop a business and leave a legacy for her family. She was stubborn, opinionated, and let’s be honest, a force to be reckoned with. It was these qualities that contributed to her success as a business owner in the traditional male dominated construction field.
In retirement Jacquie poured her energy into gardening and oil painting. Her passion and talent led her to complete over 200 paintings, most of which she generously gave away.
She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage. Jacquie was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
She was predeceased by her daughters Nikki and Dawn.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Gerry, her sons; Joel, James, John daughter-in-law Michele; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
