On September 9th, 2020 at 11:55am George Francis Siver died, at the age of 94.
Our father was a WWII Veteran and was last of the six founding members of the Powerhouse Theatre in Vernon. George loved, the theatre, and build many sets and had humorous stories to tell about the time he played the Bartender in “Love Rides the Rails”. He was an excellent dancer, and frequently tore up the dance floor at Legion dances well into his 80’, he loved music and musicals, and was an avid fan of the Victoria Shamrocks, the Royals and the Grizzlies.
George loved a good story and had many tales to tell which, like a fine wine, improved with the telling. He had a wonderful mischievous sense of humour.
He is lovingly survived by his children; Bryan, Dale, wife Tina and their son Scott, Beverley, Lorrie, and her partner Ross Carriere.
George will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.
