She had many happy memories of her time together with her Mom & Dad and her 9 brothers and sisters which she shared with her children and grand children.
Mom says that her proudest family moment was when she became a mother and her proudest career accomplishment was being asked to give the thank-you speech for the staff from Beaver Lumber Christmas Party.
Both Mom and Dad always had an extensive roster of friends, which continued even after dad’s passing. To me this says a lot about the woman that Catherine and I are so fortunate to call “Mom”.
Mom’s last year was spent sharing her enjoyment of life in spite of the fact that she was confined to a wheelchair at Selkirk Seniors Village.
Mom, you will be thoroughly missed by your family and friends.
Thank you for being our mother.
