Print this and put it in an album. That is what Eileen would have done; Genealogy was her passion. She researched her family history in exacting detail and often traveled to places in search of ancestry documents. She was born in 1931 in Oshawa, ON. As a child, she was shy. As a woman, she was elegant. Most of all she was determined and decisive. Her life included some great adventures like sailing to the Caribbean and living in the B.V.I and Florida. Eventually, beautiful British Columbia became her home. Eileen enjoyed the changing seasons of her life and found joy in how age brought her the freedom to live life on her terms.
She is survived by her son, Kerry Gibson (Wendy) and five grandchildren, Darryl, Ken, Ron jr., Randy and Rhonda. She was predeceased by her husband Teddy, brother, Ken and children, Cheryl and Ron. In accordance with Eileen’s wishes, no service will be held.
