Mourning her passing is son Lance, and granddaughter Lauren and grandson James. Sisters Carol Lamont, Irene Lamont and Frances Lamont in Victoria and Margaret Richards in Ontario and many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Connie fought a long hard battle with Parkinsons. Her strength and determination to overcome and never complain inspired all who knew her. Connie went to MT. View High School where she spent her final four years at The Heights at Mt. View Care home on the same site as her former school. She was certified in Public Administration and applied her trade with the Provincial Government for 37 years.
Connie and sister Carol spent many a happy hour riding their horses through all the trails on the Malahat often getting lost and having to depend on their horses to take them back where they started. Connie’s friends and family were very important to her and she often was the one organizing many gatherings and reunions. Her love of travel took her all over the world but in true fashion there was always another destination to discover. We picture Connie galloping her horse across an open field hair flying in the breeze and her body doing anything she asks of it.
She will be greatly missed.
