BERTE MARGARET ANNE FRASER (JONES) passed away June 30, 2023, following a brain aneurysm. Born December 1,1936 in Vancouver, she was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Lily, and older brother Ronald. Following her childhood ambition, she graduated as a nurse at Vancouver General Hospital in 1958. She and George began their 65 years of a happy and loving marriage on May 16 of that year.
She is survived by husband George, son Mark (Bobbi Jo), daughter Ruth (Tim), grandchildren Erin (Ryan), John, Sarah (Brett), Ian (Jessi), Jessa, Joy, and great grandchildren Emma and Olivia.
Unselfish, kind and caring, she made many friends as a nurse, at church, among neighbors and, finally, at Berwick Royal Oak. Sincere thanks go to the staff at Victoria General Hospital, particularly in ICU and on floor 6N, for their great kindness toward her and our family.
