It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Dad and Opa, Bert Vander Heiden on October 5, 2024, at the age of 94. Generous of heart, constant of faith, his absence leaves a void in our lives. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Bea, and his son Paul. Leaving to mourn his loss; son John (Jacquie), daughter Janet, son Michael (Marie) and daughter-in-law Veronica. Cherished Opa of; Julia (Nic), Jordan (Allissa), Amy and Leila.
We invite all who loved Bert to share in a service of remembrance at First Memorial, Royal Oak (4725 Falaise Drive) on Saturday, November 9 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pacific Christian School Foundation.
