Another year gone by without you.  Still missing you.  You're often in my thoughts.  Rest in peace, old friend.

I thought of you yesterday as we were walking around View Royal Park.  I remember helping you in the concession in the park across the road from your old house after one of the great dinners you used to make (and some Black Tower wine, of course).  Will always miss you.

It's so hard to believe it has been three years.  So many times I think "Gail would know the answer to that", or I see some crafts and remember the beautiful gifts that Gail made.  There are too many good memories to list.  We miss you Gail.

Dear Ron & Family,
My heart goes out to all of you. I just wanted to share my memory of Gail. She was so easy going and had such a lovely demeanor. My strongest memory was at your home on Barkway Terrace with the sensational gardens that I know were Gail's pride and joy. She was so creative and her crafts will be enjoyed by many for years and years to come! I also was so aware how important family was to her and she was so proud of her kids and grandchildren. She will be truly missed.

The Registrar's office is a large daunting place and Gail was one of the first people that was always ready to offer advice and help in any way to feel connected and welcomed. Coffee breaks were fun and filled with office, family or travel adventures - a great way to pass time.

Dear Ron and family,

Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of Gail’s passing.

Gail was a wonderful friend and co-worker.  Coffee breaks with Gail were always interesting and I enjoyed her camaraderie immensely.  Thanks to Gail and her flower garden, you could often see lovely bouquets of dahlias throughout the office.

After Gail retired, we always looked forward to our June birthday breakfast at Mattick’s. The four of us, Gail, Ron, Don and myself, would get together to talk about the news of the day and to relive the stories from a long  friendship.  These are treasured memories.

Gail will always be in our hearts. She will be truly missed.

I'm so very sad to hear of Gail's passing.  She was so helpful to me navigating a new workplace.  Always very generous of spirit, she was terrific to work with and learn from.  She'll be so missed.

From the early days of the University Gail was one of the kingpins of the Records area of the Registrars' office, a valuable source of information for fellow employees.
She will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Gail and her stories of RVing. Her family was always close to her heart.

Thinking of you all during this sad time.   I first met Gail in 1978, as coworkers at UVic.  Gail was someone you could always have a laugh with, but also someone who knew her job so well.   Many years later, while I was now working in another department, I could still count on calling Gail for an accurate answer to my questions, and a friendly chat as well.
We were  so sorry to hear that she has suffered in the last year, and that now her life has been taken way too soon.   I'm sure that she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
