Vern Bryant was our bandmaster at Mount View High School in Victoria BC in the '50's.   He was not much older than we the students.  He was a snazzy dresser, great rapport with students and a fine personal musician.  We all loved band classes, mainly because of Mr. Bryant.  His memory will live on in my heart.

My sincere condolences.  Your father was my band teacher at Dr. Knox in
 Kelowna and my daughter's teacher & principal in Vernon.  He was very kind, generous with his time, and a wonderful musician.  Overall a great man who loved his family. He will be missed.
