We are saddened to announce the passing of Mona Taylor. Mona was born in Vernon on February 10, 1932. She passed on June 8, 2013 in Vernon. Survived by two daughters, Lori Taylor (San Diego), Pam (Brad) Merritt (Armstrong), 3 granddaughters, Melissa (Nelson), Megan (Calgary) and Lyndsay (Vernon).
Mona was born and raised in Vernon, BC. She graduated as a RPN from Vancouver School of Nursing in 1954. She was a nurse for over 40 years.
As per Mona’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. There will be a private family memorial. She will be missed by all who were touched by her life.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Polson North for their dedicated, kind, and loving care.
