Julie Annie Olson

1932-2017

With much love and fond memories, the family of Julie Annie Olson say goodbye to a beautiful wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, friend. Born November 11, 1932 to Daniel and Rosie Prysunka in Calgary, Alberta. Julie will be missed by her beloved husband of 40 years, Edgar; children Darryl (Laura), Rick (Kim), Laurie (Alan); grandchildren Erin, James, Shannon, Christopher, David, Joel and great grandchildren Lucas, Kylan, Adalynn, Carson, Brock, Tyce and Ryden. Julie will be remembered by sisters Marilyn, Nadia, Vera, brother Arnie, many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by brother, Walter and her parents.

Julie and Edgar transferred to Vernon in 1982 where Julie continued her work at the Bank of Montreal and Edgar with B.C. Hydro. They participated in Power Pioneers and BOMPA as well as the Korean War Veterans Association. They enjoyed skiing, hiking and golfing. Winter holidays were spent as snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona, and they travelled to many wonderful destinations the world over.

Celebration of Life will be held on August 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, Vernon, BC. V1T 4M4
